The Present of Presence

Presence is a foundational element of mindfulness.  Being present means living in the current moment, here and now. We spend the majority of our time worrying about something that already happened or worrying about something that could happen.  The past is over and there’s no changing it.  We can't know what the future holds, so we can only make up stories. Why not consider living in the present, where life really happens?
